PETG Sheet
PETG - An extruded sheet offering endless possibilities for designers and fabricators alike. From simple shapes to the most complex designs, PETG retains all its toughness.

A transparent copolyester sheet with very high impact and chemical resistance, PETG is ideal for elementary objects up to the most complex designs. Easily fabricated and vacuum formed, the applications for PETG are exceptionally wide reaching.

Characteristics

Tough: PETG machines and thermoforms easily. It has superior chemical resistance and does not degrade or stress crack in contact with oils, greases, alcohols or commercial cleaning products.

Clear: The sheet maintains exceptional clarity during fabrication, heating and vacuum forming without whitening. Surface scratches can be easily removed.

Versatile: It can be cut, routed, welded, drilled, die-punched, bent cold or hot and joined by screws, rivets or bolts. It can be edge-polished using sanding, solvents, flame-polishing or commercial edge-finishing equipment. It forms clear, strong bonds with commercially available cements and solvents. The sheet accepts screen printing, painting and hot stamping - Even registration printing.

Affordable: PETG sheet saves costs in handling and is less prone to breakage overall - In shops,  transportation, installation and in general use. Once in use, finished products enjoy a long life reducing replacement costs and no special fabrication equipment is required.

Hygiene: Food contact approved (Non UPV only)

Fire rating: Class 1Y surface spread of flame to BS476 Part 7

Mirrored PET-G is also available for applications that require a higher impact strength than acrylic but less than polycarbonate. This material is ideal for use in vehicles and public buildings such as schools.
