Copper and Copper Alloys - CC492K/ LG4

CC492K/ LG4

LG4 is a leaded gunmetal bronze with excellent machinability and bearing properties, good corrosion resistance and moderate strength.

Leaded bronzes and gunmetals offer better machining characteristics than that of the other bronzes whilst maintaining a good balance of corrosion resistance and strength. Available in cast form only, Righton is able to offer material supplied in many internationally recognised standards for use in applications such as bushes and bearings.
