Copper and Copper Alloys - AMS 4881

AMS 4881

AMS 4881 is a nickel alumimium bronze - Solid Bar AMS 4881. An additional heat treating process is applied, improving mechanical properties and the strength to weight ratio. This exceeds the range of typical aluminum bronzes. UNS C99520 is commonly used in applications involving heavy loads abrasion, friction, and deformation at high temperatures. UNS C99520 can replace UNS C63020 with the advantage of this material being available in tube form.
