Marinecore Alumunium Composite Panels

New to the Righton outfitting range, the very latest in composite technology. Now available in a standard range of colours, metallic, brush and mirror finishes. Panels can also be supplied with decorative laminate. A standard PVDF coating is applied to the aluminium coil prior to lamination into a composite panel. The aluminium coil is processed via a continuous coil coating process and stoved at temperatures between 200 & 260°C.

Characteristics

  • Rigid and lightweight: High strength with excellent torsion and bending strength. Lighter than solid aluminium.
  • Weather and corrosion resistant: Coated with a PVDF resin, it withstands extreme weather conditions and minimises the possibility of acid, alkali and salt spray corrosion. It is unaffected by temperature change and the long term bask of ultra violet rays.
  • Fire resistant: BS476 PT 7 Class 1 and BS476 PT 6 Class 0.
  • Impact resistant: The core comprises of Viscoelastic high molecular resin preventing cracking or breaking, yet provides high strength, stiffness and impact resistance.
  • Sound insulation: Compared to other materials of the same weight (steel, solid aluminium, tile, plywood etc) these panels have greater sound transmission loss.

Fire Conformance

A similar panel to the standard Marinecore aluminium composite panel above but with full IMO fire approvals. Consists of high mineral filled core. A full range of solid, metallic and special effect colours available. Often used for flooring when laminated.
